Introduction — 

            ABREF started production of Cordierite Kiln Furniture in January 1993 as a Venture Capital Company in association with Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI). Presently it is the leading manufacturer of cordierite producing more than 450 tons per year. The product is well accepted by the sanitaryware, tableware and tile industries in the country. ABREF has now extended its foray into Asian markets in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia etc., ABREF specializes in catering to the intricate requirements of our customers. The entire team at ABREF is customer focussed and always endeavours to do our best. Training and continuous improvement programmes are regularly conducted to keep abreast of latest developments in the industry. In July 2000 we have been accredited with ISO 9002 by RWTUV.

ABREF team is lead by N.G.Manoharan, Managing Director. He is a chemical engineer from Anna University, Chennai. He has more than 25 years experience in the field of super refractories and has pioneered this product. The board of directors include Mr.T.N.Jothiraj,a mechanical engineer and the co-promoter of ABREF. Mr.K.Swamiraj, a mechanical engineer, Mr.A.N.S.Raman,an engineer and businessman.
